Delivery Coordinator:

Reporting to the Sr. Manager, Off-Premises Strategy, the Delivery Coordinator owns the day-to-day execution and reporting that keeps CAVA’s off-premises delivery channels running smoothly across first-party and third-party marketplaces. This role leads order triage, VIP and large-order coordination, marketplace issue resolution, and operational analytics, reporting, and updates that enable best-in-class reliability and guest experience.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and execute all recurring and ad hoc operational reporting for restaurant and channel performance; surface trends, defects, and opportunities with clear, concise summaries.
  • Manage live order triage for catering deliveries, providing order context and resolving fulfillment blockers in real time to protect guest experience.
  • Coordinate VIP and large-order scheduling; handle escalations, follow-through, and proactive communication with restaurants and partners.
  • Maintain and update the Catering Location and service radius reference to reflect restaurant openings and coverage changes with high accuracy and timeliness.
  • Process routine refunds, incident follow-ups, and driver actions for 1P/3P issues in line with established policies; escalate complex or high-impact cases as needed.
  • Field and resolve Support Center and field team inquiries related to 1P/3P deliveries; act as the first responder and ensure effective hand-offs.
  • Prepare weekly partner materials and track action items for DoorDash, Uber Eats, and Catering cadences; log issues, file tickets, and ensure timely closure of commitments.
  • Maintain clear SOPs for triage, scheduling, refunds, and portal workflows; propose improvements to increase speed and reduce defects.

The Qualifications:

  • 2–4 years in operations coordination, logistics, customer support, or marketplace operations within retail, QSR, or delivery platforms.
  • Strong situational judgment and calm under pressure in live-order situations; bias for action and guest-first problem solving.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication with restaurant teams, support centers, and external partners.
  • Working knowledge of delivery marketplaces and fulfillment workflows; comfort navigating partner portals.
  • Proficiency with Excel and Google Sheets and data analysis; ability to translate findings into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Willingness to support flexible hours including occasional early mornings, evenings, or weekends aligned to live-order needs.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to maintain stationary position to be able to operate a computer and other office equipment
  • Must be able to identify, analyze and assess details
  • For certain positions, must be able to occasionally move or transport items up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to communicate with others and exchange information accurately and effectively
  • Constantly positions self and move about to support ordinary restaurant or food production support or office operations, as applicable
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
