Overview:
We are looking for a Regulatory Compliance Assurance Testing Analyst to join our GVSPE team and ensure that our organization is in compliance with all regulations, laws, and policies.
This is a hybrid role, based in our Swords office.
Responsibilities:
- Execute monitoring tasks in line with the Compliance Monitoring Plan.
- Proven experience related to regulatory compliance testing/monitoring
- Proven experience with law and regulations in the financial Industry
- Prepare output reports detailing observations, findings, and recommendations for review by Senior Manager.
- Issuance of final reports to relevant first line functions and ensure findings are remediated where needed and brought to resolution.
- Present findings and recommendations to the Director of Compliance.
- Assist the Senior Manager in review and updating of compliance policies and procedures.
- Assist in the delivery of compliance training program
- Apply analytical skills to review information and determine potential weaknesses or exceptions to policies and regulatory requirements.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience related to regulatory compliance testing/monitoring.
- Knowledge of EU regulations and key regulatory developments would be an advantage.
- Highly motivated individual who has a proven record of using initiative to resolve problems.
- Analytical ability to identify and understand problems as well as to provide effective solutions.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Attention to detail.
- A minimum of 1 years related compliance experience.
- LCOI or other certifications are a plus.
- Microsoft word, excel and PowerPoint skills essential.
- a team player and effective communicator to ensure that issues are appropriately resolved.
- Ability to deal effectively with multiple competing deadlines.
- Positive, innovative attitude and the ability to take on new assignments and projects with an open mind.
